This Nottingham crew are still churning out tunes and are currently ramping up their plans for world domination. Already two jump off demos deep they are now set to release the first official release and we are able to gie you the low down on what these new tracks really sound like.

As ever Psyko appears to be the centrepeice around which this crew is formed. With him, the producer brings along frontline siblings, singer 1st Lady and MC Fox along with new member Asha as well as DJ G-Scratch adding his own thing to the mix.

This particular CD starts off with You Can't Hurt Me a track which starts off gently with a scratched intro over some chords and harmonised refrain. A rocking bass increases for the first MC to get busy and drop in a distinctive Notts tone. An emotional series of situations evolve describing some bleak realities of someone who likes to ride alone.

As the CD progresses the title track Turnin' It Right Up fades in from the preceding skit and adds much more of an upbeat feel with a distinct electro edge to the beat which is overlayed with several forms of harsh guitar. More hyper and upbeat the MC talk is of club environments and darker cap poppin and is again woven in with the female tomes of 1st Lady who askes SH to blow the night up.

The penultimate track in this compact four track affair is Ereal. This is a track about poverty and how this can make yu feel like you are trapped in a cage. The redeeming factor to the dilemma is that the MC still retains his skill and therefore has a hope that is never too late. The production takes the tempo indo the mid region for a skippy beat which has haunting chords for the main melody.

To bring the CD to a close the group choose to include Piano, a track which I think they included on their previous Slaughter In Tha House Demo and is the shortest on here. A relaxing vibe is engendered by the live sounding piano and otherwise relatively spase production. It is a nice and easy way to round off a satisfying peice of work, but overall this CD is pehaps not quite as bumping as some of their earlier stuff.

So here we have a hungry crew who have been knocking at doors hard for a while now and their knuckles must be sore by now. They As their press says their sound combines synthesis of heavy chorus lines, frontal G- funk, semi-rock influences and a softer RnB vibe. They are appauled by American dominance and lip service paid to them by the UK labels. It is their intention to do something about this dominance and lets hope that someone has the sense to hear them and usher them in. With the right distribution these guys could do damage. Look out for the forthcoming album containing additional tracks including: Deceived, Back Then and A Mean Style.
