| Sean has been building a
reputation which has impacted in Miami, New York and London. His ability
to incorporate hot dancehall tracks with call and response choruses laced
with a hip hop vibe has led him to work with the likes of Busta Rhymes,
Jay-Z, The Neptunes, Tony Touch and Rahzel of the Roots amongst others. He
also has a Mobo award for best reggae artist under his belt. 'Get Busy' is the stunning new single by influential hip-hop flavoured, dancehall star- Sean Paul. It is the second track to be lifted from his debut US top 10 album, Dutty Rock and is set for release on May 12th through EastWest/Atlantic records. Following the incredible success of 'Gimme The Light', which scored a UK top 5 earlier this year, Sean Paul's infectious sounds have already earned him a permanent place in Jamaica's musical pantheon. Sean Paul is now a massive US star and looking likely to put Shaggy and other ragga stars in da corner in 2003. In the US "Get Busy" is now #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles charts!!! and he is about to set off on a 21 date US tour with the mighty rapper 50 Cent and Sean Paul has just announced his only UK show for June 26th at London's Hackney Ocean. Get Busy takes you back to the classic days of dancehall which flourished with the likes of Capelton and Cutty Ranks etc, but at the same time modernises the sound mixing in various Hip Hop elements and keeping it up to date and relevant today.
