 Competition Time

Kidulthood CompetitionAfter a successful cinema release Kidulthood transferred out onto DVD to own from May 22nd (RRP: £15.99). It's just another day at school for West London teenagers Trife, Jay and Moony: beatings in the classroom, sex on the playing field and drugs in the schoolyard. But things are about to flip sharply for this tight trio and their crowd. With school cancelled following the tragic suicide of bullied pupil Katie, the teenagers are all forced to face their own responsibilities and blame.

Despite being a cracking film the DVD has still managed to fit in some amazing extras with interviews with all the cast, behind the scenes at the premiere after party with Blak Twang and Skinnyman, uncensored scenes, exclusive tracks and videos. A quality package with a monster total running time of 187 mins…

Kidulthood was written by and starred Noel Clarke, winner of the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award (2003) for Most Promising New Actor and currently starring alongside Billie Piper in Doctor Who; up and coming actress Jaime Winstone, daughter of acclaimed British actor, Ray Winstone, Rafe Spall son of Timothy Spall, Nicholas Hoult (About A Boy), Ray Pantthaki (Eastenders) and Aml Ameen dubbed 'Best Newcomer' by Screen International and currently playing one of the leading officers in The Bill.
