You Must Learn The Story So Far...

You Must LearnAround this time last year, two humble Hip Hop fans from Sheffield could take no more of their city’s fragmented scene and all but nonexistent Hip Hop-community spirit. They could have so easily continued to join in with the moaning and apathy of everybody else but they saw that if you’re not going to step up and become part of the solution, you’re just another part of the problem. So with this in mind, they formulated a two-prong action plan to help to raise awareness and funds for a very important cause in the process of trying to cultivate the sort of Hip Hop scene Sheffield deserves. This is the story of what happened when Dinos Goldie and Peter Vosper hooked up with DJ Riles, Trippets Wine Bar, Yellow Arch Studios and www.the-coffee-project.com to put on a series of fund-awareness-raising gigs for The Coffee Project starring some of the UK’s most slept on Hip Hop talent.
