Henna Cee

Well I grew up on a diet of pure music, from listening to Tony Williams on a Sunday afternoon, then switching channels to catch Rodigan. Through my skool years I got into SKA, and went through the burgundy staypress trouser phase.

Anyway to cut a long piece short, I heard 4 tunes that influenced me big time.
BREAKDANCE ELECTRIC BOOGIE by the WEST STREET MOB
PLANET ROCK (don’t need to tell you who that was by)
THE SMURF by TYRONE BRONZON
ET BOOGIE (ain’t got a clue who by, so if you know, let me know)

At that time I started to try my hand at Body Poppin and Breaking, but was WACK.

Then, like a lot of hedz I managed to get to see ELECTRO ROCK (Hip Hop at the Hippodrome) and BEAT STREET, after seeing the artwork on those, and then having the pleasure of seeing WILD STYLE, I became hooked on graffiti, and soon became well known in my native High Wycombe.

Also around that time I was introduced to my first STEREO and began homing in to shows like MIKE ALLENS TROOPS ON MANOUVERS to get all the latest beats.

I started rappin’ when I was 13 and soon realised I was quite good, therefor I started to practice more often, on freestyles and soon developed my own style.

Nowadays you can find me doing what I do best, writing RHYMEZ, getting ready to unleash yet more British Hip Hop on ya fuckin’ ear ole’s, with TRUE FOCUS.

Anyway peep the site an enjoy.
