The Bug, real name Kevin Martin, has released music on a plethora of acclaimed electronic labels, Rephlex, PIAS and Soul Jazz to name but a few. On the ‘Poison Dart’ EP laser snaps; murky reverbs, and harsh syncopated future-dub excesses are complemented by the tribal flows of Warrior Queen. The Skream remix ventures into spazzed out dance-floor friendly territory without compromising any of its dystopian narrative. Japanese turntablist DJ Baku is on call for another distorted flip of PD, incorporating Roll Deep’s Flowdan.
