Nadia, I like. In fact I play it a lot since my postie dropped it off at my door. Ok so it's sort of a woman/love tune, but hey it's a good one. The harp plucks and the Asiatic feel to the track boosted by the female vocals make this an instant hit. Styly Cee out doing himself again and seriously looking like the producer that many people had him tipped to be. This EP sports four quality tracks of which "Notts Rep", "Speak the Truth" and "Nadia" all fight for number one spot. I like "Them or Us" as well so, erm it's a tough one. If you aint heard of Midnyte before well he's been doing his homework on the Lost Island LP and generally moving around Son Records featuring with Cappo also, so you don't really have any excuse. His rhyme style is up there with the best of them, coupling a Notts accent with a solid flow. Another Nottingham head showing his talent? Indeed, I think there is something dodgy going on in Nottingham, how many quality Emcees can one place have?
As a conclusion, if I wasn't sent this record to review then I would be down my local Dole office getting a crisis loan in order to buy this EP. Nuff said.
