Procryptix Break In A 950's Shadow EP

After their more than solid debut ‘ The Inkyfist Assassin’ Procryptix are back with a 4 track EP. The first track is a thumping dancefloor track, if you can’t dance a long to this then there is no hope, I know I’ll by pumping it at the parties. The beat by Sparkii is more than infectious, more like contagious, for don’t leave your window open when you play it or you may find all the neighbours outside bobbing up and down. Then you’ve got NABA, who’s lyrics are well written with enough wordplay for anyone, I also like his laid back approach to rhyming. Then you’ve got ‘Scratch The Shamps’ which is one some real strange retro disco tip, but actually very good, it also features CyberdreDD. ‘Victimz’ is a very simple track, with a beat that although plain keeps you happy with a nice little Violin (or some instrument like that) loop, laced up by some nice rhymes. The B-side seems mainly instrumentals, but don’t over look for ‘Sometimes I…’ features the brilliance of TY who doesn’t disappoint as usual. People who like hiphop with a lighter tone, and anyone who likes dancing like a prick, buy this. If you don’t wake up and give it a listen anyway you may well find it right up your street.
