What can I say, this is the best EP I've ever heard. Formally HMD of MSI & Asylum, Haych delivers amazing lyrics that are really well thought out over great catchy production, and the EP even has scratching by the great Mr Thing. 7 tracks deep, the best being 'Still love this' which should in an ideal world be at number 1. I can't say anything bad about this, get it or be left behind. Rating: * * * * *
HMD realy killed it on 'Hang Em High' earlier in the year so I was really checking for this EP. I like 'Havin a laff' the most even though he sounds oddly like Busta Rhymes on it. Theres lot of variation on this EP and HMD can definately stand on his own. Its a very smooth sounding EP and could probably sell some units given the right promotion from a major, thats not to say Haych has sold out, hes just got some very cool laid back tracks on here. He bills this EP as "Part 1 of the trilogy" and after hearing this I'm definately looking to hear his episode 2.
