Why is this guy not huge? That's what goes through my mind every time I play this 12", which is a lot by the way! The beats come off like Braintax with a bite and the lyrics, well that's harder to pin down, but they are spot on! How d'ya like it- has a solid bass line that would have everyone and anyone up dancing, even the guy who likes to stand around against the fag machine looking hard, you, yes you, get over on the floor and show your appreciation! Mr J and the rest of the squad are lifting Brighton higher than Bobby Zamora! Twice that- has a superb DJ Premiere vibe to it, with trumpets and horns creating the atmosphere for a near on Aspects delivery. This tune alone could carry the 12", but with the quality of this 12" that is never a worry. Indeed they have it "wrapped up like bandages" Concepts- This, as you would expect, is another banger! I love this track as a matter of fact. It reminds me of old Jehst stuff, or a YNR track. The lyrics flow effortlessly over yet another banging, drum kicking chaotic track. The production again shines and Mr J is not shy to produce a perfect flow.
This record should be in every DeeJays crate and every Hip Hop heads collection. If you don't have it, your collection with be a record short of a complete packages. A UK Hip Hop crew for now and the future.
