Raw Tribe Killas British Nights EP

The title track 'British Nights' of this latest offering from the Brighton crew hits in with a wicked bass topped with pretty minimal beats & nice rapping. This is a top track. The remix has an epic string sample that for me could have been used a bit more but works really nicely. The next track, 'Always Lower Class' is a track that manages to be relatively speedy but still laid-back. The subject matter of the lyrics is worth a listen to, the delivery as good as ever. 'The final track 'Every Word Said' has a nice piano loop over a heavy bass line, topped with a nice soulful (and not RnB) refrain. A drum n bass remixsupplied by Clinical is pretty smart too - I'm not much of a DnB head so I can't say too much, but they've done more than just bung jungle beats under the original track, although I would've liked a bit more vocal than there is. So this has to go down as a wicked 2nd release from RTK - may they live long and prosper.
