Various DJ Pogo presents Block Party Beats LP

This compilation across double wax is rammed out with class - rare funk 45's rub needle grooves with some classic heavyweight original breaks. This has some serious groove to it - proper for jumping up a pre-party type atmosphere to a temperature needed for things to kick off... its definitely a limb buster! Well its what you would expect if you got the chance within one LP to move from Babe Ruth's - The Mexican through to Afriques - House of the Rising Funk and then passing by Badder Than Evil - Hot Wheels (The Chase). This is a valuable journey and a half - this brings the sounds. A very nice compilation with some devastating tracks that I had never heard or titled before - and as such it was a revelation straight from A1 to D4. Luvely collation all rounded off with a little maverick beats mix of nicely worked backspinning by the mans himself DJ Pogo. Have a listen if you see it in a shop round your way - its worth the time.
