Roysta Dirtcore Deluxxxe LP Hailing from Ireland, producer/emcee Roysta brings here a new breed of Hip Hop. Dirt Style! He tells it how it is…..no fake big up’s, no fake accent, no chat about how hard done by he is, no metaphors just for the sake of using metaphors. This is proper hardcore Hip Hop. His beats are tight and his lyrics are on point. On the 3rd track – Def Jam is sat on – he raps “Radio One can suck the cum out of my cock, if they play one of my tunes I’m giving up Hip Hop” haha! This is just an example of where Roysta is coming from. This tune is a big Fuck You to all labels who treat artists like pieces of shit. Big up that man. The beats are up-tempo, but Roysta never seems to try and cram all his words in where it’s not necessary. His voice is gritty, he delivers his vocals well, he’s a good emcee. And this is what we need more of……more Irish Hip Hop. If Roysta and Dirtcore Deluxxxe are anything to go by, Hip Hop from Ireland is something to look out for.
