Insane Macbeth The Retardation Project LP "British Hip Hops shit, there no money in it!" This album hits strong with appearances from Kinetic Effect, Grizzly (HQ Squad), Icepick, Ripper, Crazy Noddy, Shaka Shazzam (Hijack) and Huntkillbury Finn. My first impression on this project was one of excitment to see all these artists on one album. The way things are going today it seems more of an Old Skool reunion, apart from a few. Favorite tracks would have to be Icepick's -True Heart, no the one with Ripper- The Title Track, no wait erm... ok, I'm not that fond of Let's Go Shopping - Crazy Noddy, yet it is growing on me! There is a distinct lack of cutting, out with that the beats are warm and each mixes well with the emcee on their chosen track.
