Oddio Kin are Portland, OR, USA native Gus (Beats) and Cove, Farnborough, Hants, UK native Deeflux (Rhymes). The two guys who recorded this limited edition album (which sold out of its run of 100 copies in 3 days) have never met.
Dee is (as he says himself) a songwriter and this is why he stands out from the hordes of rappers that are sprouting out of the ground chatting gas.
On this 'proper' album he covers many topics and speaks with bare honesty on personal topics such as his history as an adopted son.
Highlights include 'Deep' which suggests Dee is moving up to a next level of songwriting with some nice double time flows.
The beats are a variety of choice sample-based head nodders - Gus does that annoying thing DJ Nappa does of having great beats just as interludes...
The album clocks in at a 'value-for-money' 60 mins.
