Concentricks Details LP Concentricks are made up of Liverpool producer Reklews and Farnborough, Hants MC Deeflux (this is yet another long-distance collabo album from D after his last collab The Oddio Kin). Concentricks seem to be on the move as their press release states that they have recently received airplay in the Czech Republic after a successful Deeflux set at Kemp. This album features the likes of Brassic, Jan Illin, DJ Juice (Pepa Records) and Reds (the artist formerly known as Ash MC). It's a 'proper' album with a serious tone and D exercising his freedom of speech. The standout song is 'This Town Is Full Of Cunts' - a vivid picture of the decline / foundation of Western civilisation with the case of Farnborough, Hants dissected - the Aldershot Urban Area illustrated. The beats are well constructed and will get your dome nodding like a donkey, but these 90's boom bap loops sometimes seem to let down the lyrics: they sometimes aren't epic enough!
