Big Dada is the most innovative and exciting hip-hop label out there at the moment. Anyone who doubts that hasn't heard this album. A compilation of the cream of their past releases plus some new tracks and remixes, this is a must for any rap fan - not just us UK heads. Apart from anything else, although they're a UK label, they also have US acts signed up. It's hard to pick a few tracks out from the rest, but I have to say that Roots Manuva's track is one that had me wearing out the rewind. His deep vocals over minimal beats and tight scratching. Wicked. Plus he features on a posse cute alongside New Flesh for Old and Drunken Immortals. There's such variety on the album too. The more traditional hip-hop sounds of Roots Manuva or Alpha Prhyme (who have an excellent remix from DJ Rumple of Blak Twang) alongside the really original sounds and flow of Saul Williams. You'll regret it if you don't get this album. Honest.
