Friedrich von Borries Who's Afraid of Niketown? Nike: Urbanism, Branding and the City of Tomorrow book

Written by a Belgian architect, this is an interesting look at next level branding by Nike in Berlin (and beyond) and how they alter the city. It illustrates the 'Corporate Situationist' methods used by the 'dream masters' of 'experiential functionalism' through 'edgy' sporting events in unusual locations (as well as the Niketown shop itself). It's a small, concise book (if a little academic) and definitely a good read for those interested in the subjects discussed in the book 'No Logo' by Naomi Klein.
