 Jon Reiss Bomb It movie

The film is an attempt at 'The Global Graffiti Documentary' and is may be considered a great success at achieving this aim. It explores the interplay between worldwide graffiti movements, the global proliferation of "Quality of Life" laws, and the fight for control over public space as well as the political dimensions of this artform. There are some animations integrated with the visuals which really enhance the graffiti on display. It is still possible to learn more about the nature of this NYC folk art with an interesting explanation of the nature of Wild Style from Tracy 168. We also can see how Cornbread and Blek le Rat were doing 'Banksy' long before he became a media darling ...

This is an excellent entertaining accompaniment to the book 'Freight Train Graffiti' by Roger Gastman et al. The original directors cut was 6 hours long – I'm looking forward to it's release.
