This is the 10th anniversary edition of this series which is a useful and interesting non-rockist overview of the best music journalism written in English. It features a couple of articles on Jay Dee, as well as articles on the band Babe Ruth who created the breakbeat called 'The Mexican' and an account of the influence of Lil Wayne on young students in his hometown of New Orleans. There is also an article on the influences on George Clinton, including The Process Church of The Final Judgment. Clocking in at 350 pages for £10 this is not bad value for an imported book...
