Any regular reader of ukhh.com will know the name DJ Skare from his domination of the last remix competition. This tape is a quality blend of mainly US bangers - all nicely beatmatched and cut up with panache. Skare's got skills on the cut and his choice of tracks cant be faulted - like most tapes I aint feeling all of them but their sequenced well and everything slides into place. I preferred the A-side of this 90 minute tape - it was more coherent and its given me a specific headbop as I stride off to work - but then again any tape packed with Busta, Method Man, Gangstarr, Mobb Deep, etc is gonna be firing whatever the weather. Overall - this is a good 'current' tape which oozes quality from its artwork right upto my headphones - check it out.
