The econd single from Biz’s current ‘Weekend Warrior’ LP. To me it’s a suprisingly disappointing choice for a chart attack. The twelve features sensitive (aka soppy) pop production from Mark ‘45’ King who samples up an old Spinners loop as a chorus hook alongside smooth melancholic strings. Biz drops a sickly sweet ode to the past state of the world alongside lamenting the loss of past friends and hiphop colleagues. Somehow the track doesn’t work and has the opposite affect to making you fondly remember ‘the days’. Overall - Biz is an absolute legend but this twelve wont be adding to his historically strong hiphop legacy.
