 P-Money feat. Skillz 3,2,1 12"

The first single from P-Money’s new album, ‘Magic City’, sees the talented deck wizard and producer from New Zealand team up with two lyrical heavyweights from the US, Skillz and Sauce Money.
For those that don’t know P-Money is New Zealand’s most successful hip hop producer, having made a name for himself in DJ battles in the 90s before hitting gold with his debut album and landing four top 5 hits in the New Zealand charts in 2003. Regularly producing for home grown artists such as Scribe (who toured with P-Money recently in the UK) and getting into the charts, P-Money is delivering his second album this year through the UK based All City Music, and has rounded up an impressive list of collaborators from around the world for the occasion including Mystro, Roc Raida, Scribe, Capone and Akon to name a few.
This first single is a very decent offering, with two of the best tracks from the LP. ‘3,2,1’ with Skillz is some straight up dancefloor business, with big heavy drums and horns backing up trademark delivery from Skillz. On the flip we get something different, with Sauce Money on the mic and a real summer track, ‘Easy’. A veteran of the hip hop scene, Sauce Money doesn’t disappoint with some top notch lyrics and delivery over a sunny, reggae tinged beat that just hits the spot in these hot and sticky times.
Two strong tracks that make for a perfect introduction to the sounds and work of one of the southern hemisphere’s nicest talents.
