Scribe Not Many - The Remix 12"

Another slice of down under funk is being served up this summer, with lyricist Scribe taking control of this excellent new single from his forthcoming album. Alongside P-Money, Scribe has been making a name for himself in his home over the last few years and has an impressive amount of honours to his name, including being the first New Zealand artist to hold down the number one spot in both the albums and singles chart. ‘Not Many – The Remix’ features the talent of fellow Deceptikonz Savage and Con Psy from Frontline. Having already sold in excess of 20 thousand copies back home, this single is set to catch fire over here as well, with an irresistible beat, that finds itself closer to some grime crossover then straight up hip hop.
Still it works a treat in this case with the rugged voices of this MC trio riding the beat like they own it and leaving no body unmoved in the process. ‘How many dudes you know flow like this? Not many, if any’ proclaims the MCs and frankly you’d be hard pressed to argue with them on this point. They roll big, they rhyme big and they’re good at it. A quality piece of pacific hip hop that will leave you asking for more. Good thing that the album is coming then!
