Last Resort New Age Rebelism EP

Old Skool For real! This four track EP storms out of Switzerland swing vicious verbal punches and hardcore head splitting hooks. The Delivery of Mr Gambit sounds very much like Bandit from Killa Instinct, which is by no means a bad thing. If you are a Hardcore head then this ones for you. DJ Taste displays skill on the decks that seems to be lost by a lot of DeeJays these days.

The Intro is a typical Horrorcore intro, moving into the next track Nemesis, which has samples from Steven Kings “It”(I think?). It’s the hardcore sound that jumps out at you, either you like this style or not. I know there are those that don’t, I do. “Ultimate Weirdness” is my favourite tune on the EP with some sweet cuts from Taste, from Street Fighter. This crew should have been around years ago; others will think that Last Resort should have been around years ago, where as some with think they sound like they are from years ago. I personally like the style that they drop and it’s a breath of fresh air from repetitive non changing beats, these guys give you cuts precise and lyrics on point. What more could you ask for? Talking of cuts DJ Taste finishes the EP off with Turntable Download and some solid cuts to boot.

Al in all it’s a solid package, the presentation, the beats, the vocals, the cuts, hell even the cover is hardcore! Big up Hardcore One Productions and Last Resort for a solid piece of work.
