Q-Bert gets some mates in (Shortkut n' DJ Disk) for this fresh slice of
razor sharp skills across 65 minutes. This is a blindingly
constructed tape - really nice abstract loops (like the looped intro by Rush), funny snippets (bits n' film bobs, e.g. Jim Carrey babbling five
characters in The Mask to Star Trek waffles!)...all manic fading across proper five star meaty heavyweight breaks (e.g. J'Bs - Rockcreek Park, etc). Although as the pre-skool name suggests - this is strictly a super listenable tape made for chillin to with a muggy head n' dazed grinningness...NOT really an experimental turntablists tape at all. As you can expect with the people making this tape the record manipulations are dapper...its pure quality - and I like it....a lot :-) Hahaha.... what a fuckin' cheesy end - but what better can I say....ruff! Basically - you will smile....you will enjoy....
