D-Tonk, Deluxe & Daredevil Who We Are 12" Hmm, after a promising first release featuring Paradise, this is a disappointing second release from Fukdup. The concept, lyrics and sound all fail to hit home. I wish there was something I could say that was positive about it but the whole track is weak to these ears. It’s a slow tempo synth led track with some RZA style pianos that are alright, but there’s no drums or bass to drive it forward. Actually come to think of it, the scratching at the end of the track was OK, but that could just be because it signalled the end of the punishment.
