 Fredi Kruga Carz 12"

I must say I didn't expect much from this 12". In fact it's not bad, but my main surprise came from the rapper's name, his horror-core billing and the contrast between that and the lyrics. He's got a good sense of humour though, that comes through for example when he says he has a problem with SWV, sisters without vehicles, who keep wanting to get with him! This track is directed firmly at the mainstream, just check the garage and RnB remixes, but the Gary Numan sample works well - the 80s synth sounds sounding good with his voice over them. This isn't a terrible record although I wouldn't buy it, but watch out for him in future - I can imagine liking some of his stuff when he's not trying to hit the charts.
