Underground Alliance Basementality part 1 12"

We’ve been here before. Undali have been killing it on the underground for a while now and having released bodies of work on CD, they’ve chosen the best of their projects to put out on vinyl for those Djs out there. So, we get the female vocal-led “Sometimes,” produced by Otis of Raw Dog, giving the Mcs a nice beat to show their skills on. The female rapper’s vocals on here especially are worth listening to the track for. She is simply great. “Dukes of Hazzard” is one for Doobie and Wyt-fang to kill on, an old skool thumper, it has some nice Latino percussion, the tempo is nice for breaking. The MC’s rock the beat, holding the fast tempo well. This is one club banger. Both these tracks are featured on their “Basementality part 2” CD

The flip features “Who I Be” from The Beat Brikkies mixtape. It has Skinnyman popping up on it guesting with Doobie. The ending of this track is the highlight with some proper scratching over the rhythms. Wytfang-produced “Slags” finishes off this cool vinyl release, with its nice Django-esque guitar hook. A wicked rhythm-track for the filthy lyrics by the Skrein lot. Some excellent stories of sexual depravity on here.

This is worth picking, as the tracks translate well in club situations, and that is the point of this release on vinyl. Big up Undali.
