DJ Jabba Tha Kut ft. Dubbledge Don’t Interupt b/w Can U Handle Me? 12" The latest instalment of Dubbledge goodness comes from the Cut Above Records stall, with the boards being handled by the superbly named Jabba Tha Kut. “Don’t Interrupt” is an energising track, with a neck jerking break and synthey strings, that has club banger written all over it. Dubbledge smashes it with an aggressive battle rhyme, to hype the track up even further. “Can You Handle Me?” has a more laid back ragga vibe, which Jabba laces with some wicked reggae vocal samples. This sets up a platform for soulful sounding Ziggy to add some tasty singing, which’s backed up by that man Dubbledge. Like the first track, this has club potential, just more as a grinding tune than a rowdy one! From the cuts and beats provided by Jabba to the vocal styles of Ziggy and Dubbledge, this is a classy release. An essential release for all deejays; this deserves some serious dancefloor rinsing!
