Ghost It's All Love 12"
After the success of last April’s Seldom Seen Often Heard L.P., Ghost introduces himself to 2008 on a different tip with some funky vibes on his latest 12” It’s All Love, on the Breakin Bread label.
Moving forward from the melancholy sounds of his previous work, this new single marks a change in direction for the former Itch FM DJ.
The A side is described by Ghost himself as: “a mish mash of northern soul, surf and hip hop” and steps over the boundaries of UK hip hop into a nice little piece of dancefloor fun.
The B side Ying Yang, has a more atmospheric feel to it, with a 4/4 beat and dreamy synths and sounds more like electro than hip hop.
After a lot of hard work in 2007, Ghost will be hoping that 2008 is the year that gets him noticed. This one drops on the January 14 and watch out for more Ghost projects to come later in the year.
