 The Icepick Dungeon Funk 12"

Taking a departure from his own Backbone label, former Hijack cohort, Icepick & DJ Premier present a 3 track package on Ruf Beats.

Sounding typically old skool British hiphop - tuff beats, rough ragga style rhymes. it's old school but doesnt sound dated. It's hardly likely to create new interest in the British hiphop scene but those that already know will find plenty to get out of this EP. Respect must go to Dave Ruf for picking this up and using his new found wealth from the crossover success of the Jeep Beats to fund some real British vocal hiphop

The Icepick has such presence on the mic that he could get away with taking his eye off the ball once in a while, but he doesn't. His new 12" has two banging new tracks produced by Supreme, plus for those who slept the first time round, the classic Phenomenal Criminal. It's wicked, and it's on Ruf Beats.
