Quakes, the tri-lingual (French/English/Twi) Ghanaian, returns with another top 12" showing off two of his three languages. The title track is a really nice one - great lyrics about the influence of the sea, over some nice laid-back beats. The flip side has y'man flexing in French. 'Histoire de Q' is a more bragging rhyme - 'je suis bi-lingue, le plupart de MCs aujourd'hui ne sont meme pas demi-lingue' or 'I'm bi-lingual, most MCs today aren't even semi-lingual') over a nice beat with an unusual violin loop. It also comes with a Mad Doctor X remix that funks it up with a more complex, layered beat.
