Ty & Shortee Blitz I.A.A.D 12" / Zones 12" Yeah - like it! 'I Am A Don' is a really smart 12" - I like Ty's style of rhyming, and Shortee's beats, cuts and rhymes are excellent too. Laid back style, quite bare beats, a nice sprinkling of humour - lovely stuff. Plust Shortee's such a top bloke (don't know Ty), you just have to like it! 'Zones' was their one and only release at Freakstreet. Rumour has it the record company was arseing them around so they nicked off. Luckily they found someone else to put out their stuff, cuz this is a wicked track.
