GTA Let Us Entertain Them (demo)

On this tight little demo you get five slices of tunage plus three of the tracks remixed by the one Jon Dutch. The production throughout the demo is excellent and on the lyrical front Ineff combines with Chima very effectively, evidence of a well working partnership. From the inspirational ‘Breakthrough’ to the very solid ‘Smile’ and ‘Euphoria’ the two emcee’s shine consistently throughout. ‘Like Blap’ disappoints in that in doesn’t seem to spark quite as hard as the other tracks. ‘Ballroom Dancing’ is nice but the beat did not seem to suit the lyrics half as well as the amazing remix, for me easily the best track on the EP. Equally the remix of ‘Like Blap’ injects something fresh into tune which had previously impressed me least. Both emcees seem to ooze a charisma that is all too often lacking in the UK scene today and Jon Dutch impresses highly with the remixes, which for me helped to make this demo.
