This is a nicely constructed cut n' paste DJ record. The main track
on the 12 is the English Lesson which features varied beats n' some
funny samples to do with breaking n' accents n' ting - this track is
featured on the Revenge of the B-Boy compilation of scratch tracks also
on Bomb Records. We are also treated to more of Formats skill as a
producer and turntabilist on Extra Lesson and Learning
Curve....although these are a bit short on time. And last up is a
nice collaboration track (with the geezer behind D'n'Bass act Aquasky)
called Vinyl Vasectomy - and as a testament to this track it also comes
with an instrumental so you can have the vocal snippets taken out n'
just enjoy the finely toned beats. A strong first release by DJ Format - hope to hear/see/smell more in the future.
