Having been to the first 'installation' by this lot at the ICA a few months ago, i was pretty sceptical about coming again, cos, well.. its the ICA isn't it. Overall it lived up to my negative expectations purely for the fact that I don't think that hip hop is experienced best in a gallery type environment. Not that the content and quality was duff- Mark B and Barnone Baroqwell Teeba were good on the decks and the animated graffiti and projections by Eko and Chum 101 were amazing (check www.graffiti.org/dj/ and click on Hull!) - I just don't think they attracted a very nice crowd.
