 Mr Ti2bs Nobody’s Perfect LP

After dropping a series of storming singles, most of which are included on this album, Ti2bs drops his debut solo LP “Nobody’s Perfect”. Anyone who’s had their eye on this man’s movements, will know about his style. For those less familiar, Ti2bs is a UK emcee in the truest sense, from his rugged London twang and subject matter, through to the real bouncy, 2-step delivery. He even calls himself the Black Del Boy!

The title gives a clue to the no nonsense nature of this album and Mr. T certainly opens up his character and bares all. “Living Just To Die” has him addressing the grieving process, yet then he’ll drop pure party vibes on “Keep It Moving”. Tibbs is no one dimensional emcee and this results in an album that is interesting lyrically but also very playable from a purely phonic point of view. That’s partly because of the impressive production credits, Baby J & Joe Budha to name just two, but also because of the pure passion and ability that pours from his larynx creates a tune all of its own. Another storming track is the shit soft “My Love Hurts”, which will be one of my feel good summer tracks for sure.

This is guaranteed one of the best Hiphop LPs you’ve heard this year and whilst ‘07 is still in it’s infancy, “Nobody’s Perfect” will be one of the best to be released this year. Many people, Tibbs included quite possibly, have an issue with the whole UK Hiphop label. Whatever your view this is a proper Hiphop album, which has a clear London influence smacked all over it. This is one to pick up without even considering it because frankly, “Nobody’s Perfect” is damn near perfect.
