Undercover Issue 4
Still only £2.99 for a chunky old mag, plus a free CD, certainly value for money. What makes this little two-some package that more worthwhile is the dappa way they link together. In almost all the tracks cases, you can enter the magazine and read something about the artist featured… mmm nice and informative. However I will state that this issue has the weakest free CD to date, with not such a lack of quality artists, more just weak tunes.
The magazine itself certainly covers a huge area of interest. I slight increase in the amount of non-hiphop coverage in this issue which is all good. A large section of the mag is still set aside for hiphop however, with the emphasis on HIP HOP. All elements are covered, with some particularly nice Graff in this issue. The main features are Rodney P, De La Soul, Sin Stars, Hoodz Underground and Buck 65 all getting an in depth grilling. That’s just that main ones though, there loads more!
On top of this is a bumper section of reviews, loads of news… plus its all really well written. Think of ukhh.com in print… that’s how dope it is hahaha. Serious though, this and Big Smoke Magazine are runnin’ tings at the moment, so frankly if your missing out this publication then you ill informed you heard!
