Elemental Magazine Number 68
Both America and France are spoilt for choice for hip
hop mags. Elemental seems to be a ‘mainstream
underground’ U.S hip hop mag. In this issue there were
interviews with Just Blaze, a column by Chuck D etc.
It has in-depth reviews (the writers seem to be quite
passionate and knowledgeable) and ads for obscure
clothing brands endorsed by underground rappers
alongside the predictable ads. It’s probably about 50%
advertising though and U.S-focused. Nothing
ground-breaking, but solid stuff nevertheless.
