Roger Gastman et al Freight Train Graffiti magazines

This book, although printed in the slavestate of China is a real interesting history of people writing on trains in the U.S from 1939 in Texas to the present day. It covers the hobo lifestyle and the American rail network amongst many other related topics. Coming from the publishers of ‘Subway Art’ (the book that Henry Chalfant himself said helped kill off the NYC subway art world) this a real treat to read which allows plenty of space for the writers to speak for themselves.
