A collection of boxfresh tracks from London’s top hiphoppers ably brought together by Roots Manuva’s live collaborator - DJ MK – who mixes up the tracks with some laid back scissoring cuts. Twenty-four tracks featuring artists’ freestyling across both original productions from established sources (e.g. Lewis Parker) and straight bootleg covers (e.g. Tommy Evans & Doc Brown across Still DRE). Its difficult to highlight specific moments across the 70 minutes of the mix but special mentions must be made for the verses from Yungun, Farma G, Sundragon, PQ, Kyza, and the veteran contingent of Rodney P, MC D and Mr Spyce. Overall, a great introduction to some new London based names alongside exclusive top quality verses from more established artists. Introduce yourself to the highlights found upon this great value and enjoyable mixtape from MK.
