 P.R The Bigger Issue (mixtape)

Energetic follow-up to the well put-together “Live from the Armchair”, P.R’s second mixtape offering gives us some heat. It offers up some UK and US bangers that sit well next to each other. From the Asaviour and Jehst stylings to a new exclusive by Dirtburg and some grimy Ghostface and GM Grimm. The tracks all segue nicely into each other and the random snippets of Big Issue sellers add a nice familiarity and consistency between the tracks. P.R’s cuts and blends are all solid and there is enough here to keep everyone interested. Ghost’s Kyza refix is probably one of the better offerings on here as well as the Werther’s Original Gangsters, Dirtburg. “Untitled Thoughts” by scary up-and-coming Liverpudlians Antiheroes is another strong choice too as well as the excellently poignant “Day to Day Basis” by Skinnyman.

This is a good mixtape and P.R is a slowly developing a solid mixtape sound and has enough humour and skills to keep you interested. This is worth a listen to. Good cover too, that P.R knows a good cover when he sees one.
