LDZ Living Long Ting (mixtape)
Once in a while, someone sends me something enjoyable in the post. This be the new mixtape from the London Zoo crew, best known for their contribution to 'Lips 2 Da Floor' alongside Dubbledge, a merciless mickey-take of Frisco, Bizzle, Wiley etc.
Note to people who pay for Trailer Media to do their promo: in the press release for this CD it might have been worthwhile mentioning that 'Lips 2 Da Floor' (which is on this CD) has been viewed on Youtube over 175,000 times at time of writing.
'Edge shows up more than twice here, alongside beats from Steve Ebola and Dag Nabbit. These guys seem to bring a complete package with a wide variety of beats, sounds and moods, from the crass to the contemplative with a lot of humour. I'm looking forward to the LP.
