Delireeus ‘Right Where?’ 12" OK, Bacon does seem to spring to mind when thinking of Denmark however that don’t mean that’s all that the country can bang out, this release proves that. This single starts of with the track ‘Right Where?’, a punchy beat and a classical loop is the backing. This works well allowing a head nodding touch but also a hardcore thump to the track, the lyrics are tight with the MC’s passing the mic well between them. I can’t really see anything wrong with this track at all, and yes they do rap in English. This can sound yank at times but saying that I’m not exactly a regular consumer of Danish hiphop so maybe that’s normal. The other track ‘Total Extermination’ has a sort of electrical piano in the background, with a slow chilled out beat. The lyrics are again impressive about the extermination of the wack, although one of the MC’s sound a bit like the old Eminem. This doesn’t put any downer on this track though.
