The Arkansas born Ne*Yo has previously co-written songs with the likes of Mario, Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans. Owing to a musical background, Ne*Yo’s definitely got the formula for the clubs with “so sick”. It’s a track about someone that’s still emotional about the memory of a previous partner that “walked out the door” and is “so sick of love songs” and “so tired of tears”. The mellowness of the backing track alongside the prominent clap ensures that you find at least one bodily part moving whether intended or not. That really shouldn’t be done at somebody else’s misfortune, but it’s addictive! Definite addition to the R&B lovers collection. Gotta bang it!
