Kel Spencer The Building 12"
After receiving backing from some of the biggest names in the US, it would appear that Kel has the dubious pleasure of being the next big thing! Having co-wrote Will Smith’s “Switch” you can be forgiven for thinking that Kel could just be the next corporate bitch to be spewed from the American music market.
Whilst the production is like something from the “Whistle Song” and the lyricism certainly isn’t the most insightful stuff you’ll hear, Kel does have a certain character and charm about him that is sure to fill dance floors and get play on MaxPower-esque car stereos. Whether or not he’s the next big thing remains to be seen, but it’s not really anything drastically new or exciting, BUT it does a job I suppose. If you’re into your Jim or Mike Jones, this may interest.
