This is the second 12” release from the Delinquent Habits and despite the fact its American, I do like this. Shock horror I know, but this is good. It reminds me of early Cypress Hill, which is probably a tag they get all the time, as they are Hispanic. At the end of the day, these guys are down to earth and at the end of the day do good tunes. Is that not what its all about. “Feel Good” is a feel good tune as you would imagine and would work well at any time of the day in a club, pub or radio (commercial radio or underground). “Southern Accent” is a lay back track with some lovely guitar licks and funky Hispanic lingo. The cutting here is not complicated or overly technical, it just works well. Its more ay back Funkdoobiest, another label they will no doubt get all the time. Bonus track ” Lower East Side” is recorded live in Amsterdam and their obvious crowd control and stage experience comes across to a clearly adoring crowd. If you haven’t heard this check it. There wont be many who wont like this. I dare you to stop your foot tapping to it.
