TTC Game Over 99 12" An incredible first release from one of the best and most innovative of the new French groups around at the moment. The beats on side A are dead original and deeply head-nodding, topped with lyrics which are funny and slapstick-violent, the 3 MCs exchanging ideas on what to do on New Year's Eve 1999 when the world is about to end. Side two shows more of TTCs strengths. Rapping onbeat, offbeat, across the beat, old school, new school - TTC prove they can rhyme how they want and sound good. Extra variety in the delivery like Tekilatex's half sung lines show more sides to the group too.
