 Drilla Mama Says 7"

Bit of a curiosity this. It’s the first in a series of sevens from Drilla A.K.A Daddy Skitz. Limited to 500 copies - if you want to grab this then one of the less shit vinyl outlets in your area. This is a sweet little reggae number with vocals shared by Gizz and Box Clever. “From a distance I see yout’ dem as they go about their day, And some assistance is what’s need instead of leading them astray.” The catchy hook echoes the sentiment of the whole tune and works well with the sparse, head-nod backdrop. The flip replaces the backing track with a fierce beat-box version courtesy of Box Clever. It’s not gonna be to everyone’s taste and I can’t see it being played out next to the latest Def Jam ‘banger’ anytime soon but if you enjoy the Titan output and have an ear for the sweet shit, then this comes highly recommended.
